Tomasz Komenda, at the age of 23, is arrested and accused of a brutal murder. Despite the lack of clear evidence, he is sentenced to 25 years in prison. In prison, he experiences violence, humiliation and intimidation. For 18 years, he has to fight for survival and maintain hope for justice. After years, prosecutors appear who decide to reopen the investigation and discover the truth.

Jan Holoubek, the director of the film, is the winner of the Grand Prix of the Młodzi i Film festival and the creator of the famous series Rojst. His feature film debut has been awarded at many festivals and seen by over 700,000 viewers in cinemas. The film touches on important topics related to the justice system, responsibility and the strength of the human spirit.
