The series of reports under the common title Small Journeys, Big Journeys began to appear in Echo Limanowski in 2006. This supertitle is a distinguishing feature of the Author's publications devoted to travels, among other articles, e.g. biographical or historical ones (including the series Preserved in memory and documents, Limanowskie traces in Warsaw). The reports, apart from the title and usually a quote (with a footnote at the end of the book), sometimes begin with something that can be called an introductory word, an introduction.

The content is divided into subheadings and provided with footnotes, mainly with information about source materials. The same text layout has been preserved in the book and enriched only at the end of individual chapters with a calendar of subsequent expeditions. To maintain historical accuracy, the chronological arrangement of expeditions has been left (without using other distinguishing features, e.g. geographical ones).
