The Chicco PhysioForma Soft Luxe soother is the first soother equipped with a modern textured shield surface, characterized by different opaque colors depending on the size. The shield of the soother has an ergonomic shape that provides adequate space for the child's nose and chin. The shield also has large ventilation holes that prevent irritation on the child's face. The soft and delicate Physioforma(R) Soft Luxe soother is designed to accompany the child during sleep, without disturbing it or leaving marks on the skin.

The unique PhysioForma shape is the result of cooperation between the Osservatorio Chicco Research Center, experienced pediatricians and the Italian Society of Orthodontics. The PhysioForma shape supports the correct positioning of the tongue in the child's mouth - moving it forward and upward, with the mouth closed. This positioning of the tongue supports the physiological opening of the upper airways, thus supporting physiological breathing (through the nose). Physiological breathing is extremely important for the proper development of the child.

THE PHYSIOFORMA SHAPE IS: a thin and flexible base of the soother that allows for comfortable closing of the mouth, a head facing upwards that leaves space for the natural positioning of the tongue, a curved head that causes an even distribution of tongue pressure on the palate, a recess on the underside of the head and small grooves that mimic the natural shape of the palate, helping to position the tongue in the correct position.
