Czesław Czapliński, a photographic artist, journalist and documentary filmmaker, born in 1953 in Łódź, living in New York and Warsaw since 1979, met Fr. Jan in 1985 in New York. Since then, he has repeatedly visited him in his apartment at the Visitation Convent. He was also the first in the 350-year history of the monastery to be allowed by the sisters to enter inside with a camera, which he shows in the book.

This album is not only a collection of photographs, but also a record of the meeting of two outstanding artists. Czesław Czapliński, known for photographing the most famous personalities from the world of culture, politics, business and sports, captured Fr. Jan Twardowski in his natural environment. Thanks to this, we can see the priest not only as a clergyman, but above all as a human being.
