REINTERPRETATIONS. POST-WORKSHOP PUBLICATION - COLLECTIVE WORK
It is with great pleasure that I present to you the publication "Reinterpretations", the result of several months of master photography workshops that I had the pleasure of leading at the invitation of the Z. Raszewski Theatre Institute in Warsaw. It is a collection of unique views of the theatre, captured by the workshop participants who took on the challenge of reinterpreting the theatrical space. Each photograph is a story, an emotion and a new perspective on the world of theatre.

The "Reinterpretations" workshops aimed to look at the theatre in a new way, to reach people, spaces and objects that are inaccessible on a daily basis or not associated with the theatre at all, but are related to it. Photography became a pretext for meetings and the discovery of new layers of emotions, tensions, gestures and symbolism, which are often invisible at first glance, but constitute the true strength of the theatre. The projects were created from scratch, and some of them evolved significantly during the workshops, becoming more and more complex and conscious not only in terms of narrative and interpretation, but also in terms of technique.
The Z. Raszewski Theatre Institute is a cultural institution that has been supporting the development of theatre in Poland for years. The Theatre Institute's publishing house publishes books, magazines and other materials related to the theatre, which are available to a wide audience. The publication "Reinterpretations" is another important step in promoting theatre and theatrical photography. The Z. Raszewski Theatre Institute is a place where passion, knowledge and experience meet to create new values in culture.
The publication "Reinterpretations" is not only a collection of photographs, but also an inspiration to broaden the perspective of photography related to the theatre. It is an invitation to discover new meanings and interpretations, to look at the theatre from a different angle. It is also a thank you to all the workshop participants for their trust, commitment and openness to experimentation. Working with them was a real pleasure! Bartek Warzecha.
