Jan Bogusławski (1910-1982) is one of the most important figures in 20th-century Polish architecture. His work is characterized by extraordinary versatility and an innovative approach to design. He was associated with Warsaw, where he faced the challenges of rebuilding the capital after the war damage. He designed iconic objects of Warsaw modernism, such as the Chemia pavilion, which has permanently entered the city's landscape. His achievements also include sacral architecture of the highest quality, including the co-cathedral in Stalowa Wola, considered one of the most important achievements of post-war church architecture in Poland.
