The aim of this monograph is to comprehensively present the organization of the fleet of deep-sea submarines of the Imperial Japanese Navy (Japanese: Dai Nippon Teikoku Kaigun) and its combat capabilities during the Pacific War. Jarosław Jastrzębski is a habilitated doctor, professor at the University of the National Education Commission in Krakow; administrator and historian of law and military science. He specializes in research on the Imperial Japanese Navy and higher education in the Second Polish Republic. He is the author of over 130 scientific and popular science publications, including a dozen monographs.
