The Siedlecki Catechism is the result of the work of an editorial team, which, as catechists of young people in junior high and high schools, took into account the diverse backgrounds of young people in the Siedlce diocese. When selecting and formulating questions and answers, the editors tried to make the catechism accessible and understandable to everyone, regardless of their origin and experience.

This publication is one of many aids used in the process of raising faith. The editors realize that the catechism requires some adaptation, taking into account the culture, age, stage of spiritual life, and the social and economic situation of those being catechized. This adaptation is intended to make the catechism an even more effective tool in the process of spiritual formation.

The intention of the editorial team was to prepare a help that should be used on the path of faith development, and not to prepare a book that needs to be reworked (memorized and passed) in preparation for confirmation. The catechism should therefore become a vademecum both before and after confirmation, accompanying the faithful in their daily spiritual lives and helping them to understand and experience their faith more deeply.

The catechism has a format of 13.5x20 cm, has 230 pages and has a paperback cover. It was published in 2012.
