Carl Barks, although he no longer drew comics after retiring, continued to create plots and scripts at the request of publishers. He provided them in the form of sketches, and other artists took care of the graphic side of the story. Daan Jippes, considered the best imitator of Barks' style, is the author of the drawings for almost all the comics in this volume. His talent and fidelity to the original make reading these comics a real feast for the eyes.
During that period, Barks especially liked the plots about the Junior Woodchucks, so in the album you will find as many as twelve stories about their adventures. Scrooge McDuck, the hero of the title story, also plays an important role in the second long story in the collection, "The Canadian Werewolf". He also appears in some stories about the Junior Woodchucks, most often as an antagonist. "Amateur Policeman" and "A Day in the Life of a Duck" are classic adventures of Donald, and the heroine of the comic "On the Wing" is Daisy.
