The poetry collection "Pseudopoeta" by Marcin Szulc is a unique literary work that was created as a collection of thoughts on the suffering after the end of first love and the long process of restoring emotional balance. The author, a student of editing and English philology, transferred his thoughts to the screen of his phone, which had a therapeutic effect on him. As he says himself, he had a lot of fun writing the next verses, later calling them poems and himself a pseudopoet.

"Pseudopoeta" is not only a collection of poems, but also an intimate journey through emotions and experiences that touch each of us. The author describes the dark side of love with extraordinary honesty and sensitivity, showing its light and shadows. It is a bittersweet-ironic story about a broken heart, in which the lyrical subject takes the reader on a journey through the stages of mourning, from despair and sadness to acceptance and hope for the future.

The title of the poetry collection refers to two important phenomena: the constant rebirth of the feeling that causes suffering, and the return of love to oneself, acceptance and rebirth as a new person, in this case a poet. "Pseudopoeta" brings comfort and shows that at the end of this difficult road everyone can experience their own spring. It is an inspiring read for all who want to find hope and strength in difficult times.

Marcin Szulc, the author of the poetry collection, is a student of editing and English philology at the Kazimierz the Great University in Bydgoszcz. He describes his relationship with literature as "enemies to lovers", as he hated reading just a few years ago and is now publishing his first volume of poetry. In addition to the art of words, he is interested in theater, especially musicals, and the English language. His work is a combination of sensitivity, intelligence and a sense of humor, which makes his poems memorable and thought-provoking.
