In the new edition, at the request of teachers, two chapters from geometry were combined: Properties of flat figures and Areas of polygons into one chapter Flat figures, and the chapter Elements of descriptive statistics was moved to the end. Content exceeding the core curriculum was removed, including cross-sections of solids, deltoid, advanced percentage calculations.
