Gladioli Purple Flora Benex are an excellent choice for anyone who wants to bring a touch of luxury and elegance to their garden. Their cultivation is relatively simple, and the visual effect delights everyone who looks at them. These flowers perfectly harmonize with other plants, creating harmonious and colorful flowerbeds. Gladioli are also an ideal choice for cut flowers, which look just as beautiful in a vase as they do in the garden.
Gladioli require a sunny and wind-sheltered position. They prefer fertile, humus-rich soil, rich in nutrients (compost, manure, mineral fertilizers), with a neutral or slightly acidic pH. Gladioli are planted between April and May at intervals of approx. 8-10 cm at a depth of 8-10 cm, on heavy soils they are planted a little deeper. Gladioli planted too shallow may be exposed to water shortages, as well as being more easily broken in windy weather.
In dry periods, gladioli require watering. Gladiolus bulbs are not frost-resistant, so they require digging up before the first frosts. On poorer soils, we fertilize them every 2-3 weeks with multi-component fertilizers, the last time at the beginning of flowering. Lushly growing inflorescences require support. The bulbs are dug up in the second half of September and in October. After digging up, cut off the shoots and dry them for a few days in a ventilated room or in the sun. After drying, the bulb should be cleaned. Over the winter, we store them in a cool, well-ventilated place at a temperature of approx. 5 degrees Celsius.
By choosing Gladioli Purple Flora Benex, you invest in the beauty and durability of your garden. Their intense color and elegant appearance will make your space unique. Don't wait, plant Gladioli Purple Flora Benex and enjoy their charm all season long!
