The translation team, consisting of Dr. Aleksandra Arndt, Dr. Łukasz Berger, Prof. Monika Miazek-Męczyńska, Prof. Ewa Skwara and Prof. Elżbieta Wesołowska, undertook the extremely difficult task of rendering the beauty and subtlety of Ovid's language in the Polish translation. Each of the translators, guided by their own rules, tried to render the original text as faithfully as possible, while ensuring its fluency and comprehensibility for the contemporary reader. The result of their work is a fascinating read, allowing for a multidimensional look at one of the most beautiful works of world literature.
