This edition of the Good News of salvation in Christ is an abridged edition of the text of the New Testament without the commentaries found in the full study version of this publication. It was conceived as a travel pocket version for people who already have a study edition of the NT (NPD). People who do not have the full edition with commentaries may be surprised by a different wording of familiar verses when reading this text. Explanations of a different way of translation can be found in the full study version of this publication. There was no room for this in the pocket version.

The New Dynamic Translation of the Holy Scripture is intended for people who are not under any ecclesial care. For this reason, it has a special form and is quite unusual for Polish cultural conditions. The publication has been enriched with the Book of Psalms. In the NPD translation, we wanted to convey the special beauty of the Hebrew psalms, but the overriding value for us was the faithful preservation of the truth of the message of the Word of God using an easy and understandable contemporary language.
