Wir smart is a five-volume German language course for students in grades IV-VIII of primary school. The course enables students to master the language at the A2 level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. Wir smart places particular emphasis on acquiring and improving the ability to communicate freely, while ensuring mastery of the basics of vocabulary and grammar. An advantage of the course is the development of students' language awareness by showing the similarities and differences between Polish and German.

Authentic German is an invitation to get to know the life of the German Malin family, the heroes of the course. Students learn about the everyday life of the Malin family from Augsburg and can compare it with their own reality. Wir smart is also a cultural studies course. Material for comparing Polish customs with the customs of not only Germany, but also Austria, Switzerland and the Principality of Liechtenstein is provided by cultural curiosities (DACHL-Perlen) in individual chapters and the final DACHL-Länder kompakt module.

Wir smart enriches lessons with new elements such as DACHL-Perlen – cultural curiosities about four German-speaking countries (DACHL), Quiz DACHL-Perlenkette – an evaluation test on cultural curiosities, Glossar – effective vocabulary learning by enriching the structure of the final glossary with collocations (the most frequent and preferred word combinations) as well as questions and answers.
