Wojciech Bieluń (Targosz) has been building his poetics for years on the border between reflexive poetry, personal essay, and intimate spiritual prose. In his new collection of poems, he goes even deeper - to the silence that speaks, to the presence that needs no explanation, to the word that becomes a gesture. This book invites you to immerse yourself - in memories, in questions, in fleeting flashes of consciousness. It is a record of spiritual shocks and existential sighs. It is a "ritual" not in the liturgical sense, but in the personal sense, an attempt to capture one's own existence in the thicket of everyday unspoken words.
Wojciech Bieluń's poetry does not try to be fashionable or effective. Its strength lies in its honesty, maturity, and literary minimalism. It is a work for those who can stop - for people who are not looking for ready-made answers, but for truth and presence. The book speaks of the fragility of life, the longing for a real relationship, of love that is not fulfilled in words, but in being together. It is a meditation on time that passes - and on the soul that remains.
Wojciech Bieluń (Targosz) was born in 1947 under the sign of Scorpio in a small town near Szczecin. There he spent his childhood - forests, a river, Lake Miedwie and colorful Roma camps. The next stage of growing up was Łódź, where he moved with his parents in 1954. High school and then interrupted university studies were not optimistic. He devoted himself to sports. He became friends with Jacek Bierezin during athletics training, and he introduced me to poetry. Times were not the best, he left Łódź and started working as a technology for agricultural distilleries and is still professionally active. His poems have been published in many quarterly and monthly literary magazines.
