Adina Zemanek, the author of the textbook, is a Master of Chinese Philology and a Doctor of Ethnology, coordinator of Chinese language courses at the Institute of the Near and Far East of the Jagiellonian University and a lecturer-methodologist at the Center for Chinese Language and Culture of the Jagiellonian University "Confucius Institute in Krakow".
