CHRISTOPHOBIA. 500 YEARS OF HATRED FOR JESUS - GRZEGORZ KUCHARCZYK

Are Nazism, Communism, and Fascism truly close relatives of Liberalism? Do the concentration camps of the 20th century have their roots in the revolutionary Vendée in France? This book is an attempt to answer these difficult questions, revealing hidden aspects of history and blurred truths.

  • Panorama of unknown history: Persecution of the Church in Europe, from the Reformation to the present.
  • Victims of revolution and religious persecution: Who will remember their memory and reveal the truth about the executioners?
  • Oppression of Christians in Islamic countries: The history of martyrdom in the 20th and 21st centuries.
  • Silenced pages of the church chronicle: Attempts to hypocritically justify persecutions as the price of progress.
  • Courage and dedication: 2000 years of resistance and testimony of faith.
  • Author: Grzegorz Kucharczyk, a prominent historian and researcher of Polish-German relations.

In history textbooks, we rarely find mentions of the resistance of the English people and clergy to the imposed Church reform in the 16th century, of the heroism of the Vendée and Belgian peasants who defended Christianity against the barbarism of the French revolutionaries in the 18th century. Also omitted are the victims of the relentless struggle that Liberalism and totalitarianism waged against the Church in Germany, Italy, Russia, Spain, Mexico...

Grzegorz Kucharczyk's book is an attempt to restore the memory of these forgotten heroes and events. Based on solid historical knowledge, the author analyzes the causes and consequences of the persecution of Christians over the centuries, showing the mechanisms of manipulation and ideological bigotry that led to acts of cruelty. It is a must-read for anyone who wants to understand the modern world and its roots.

Grzegorz Kucharczyk (born 1969) is an associate professor, PhD, head of the Laboratory of German History and Polish-German Relations at the IH PAN in Poznań. He is the author of several scientific works, including the books: Germany and raison d'état. The political thought of Jacques Bainville, Kielknią i cyrklem. The secularization of France in the years 1871-1914, The first holocaust of the 20th century, The last emperor. Co-author of a series of textbooks for junior high school and the Small History of Great Poland and the Small History of Polish Political Thought.
