The 7TP light tank was the most valuable armored vehicle of the Polish Army during the September 1939 campaign. It was an expression of the ambitions of a young state that created a modern design based on the British Vickers tank. The machine was equipped with a diesel engine, a rotating Gundlach periscope, giving the crew a better field of view, a Bofors gun wz. 37 cal. 37 mm, and a machine gun wz. 30 cal. 7.92 mm. Thanks to this, the 7TP tank could effectively fight both the German Panzer I and the more advanced Panzer II.

In terms of armor, the 7TP was inferior only to the newer German medium tanks: PzKpfw III E and PzKpfw IV B-C. It is worth noting, however, that these were much heavier vehicles (the weight reached 20 tons) and in 1939 they constituted only a small part of the German armored forces. From 1936, the 7TP tanks were painted in the standard camouflage of Polish military vehicles. It consisted of irregular, elongated patches of gray-sand, dark brown and olive-green, the patches were mainly horizontal, applied by spraying with smooth transitions between colors.

The set was created in cooperation with the Museum of the Polish Army in the Warsaw Citadel, where a reconstructed tank is currently located. The blocks are durable, resistant to abrasion and ensure the solidity of the structure. Their unique fit guarantees satisfaction from building - both for beginners and experienced modelers. The set includes a figure of the Polish General Stanisław Maczek in a recreated coat and beret. The General himself did not drive a 7TP tank in September 1939, but through this figure we wanted to commemorate the most outstanding Polish commander of armored troops, who he was both in September 1939 and for the rest of World War II.
