The comic takes place in the lands of Eruin Dulea, an island country of magic and knights, reminiscent of the early medieval states of the British Celts. Once ruled by kings from the rightful Sudenne dynasty, but for years the power has remained in the hands of the magician-usurper Bedlam. Sioban is the last representative of the old royal family and is responsible for regaining power. Grzegorz Rosiński is one of the most outstanding Polish comic book artists, known primarily as the author of drawings for the Thorgal series. His work has gained recognition both in Poland and abroad, and his comics have been translated into many languages.
