EILHARD LUBINUS WORDS AND IMAGES - EXHIBITION CATALOG

In March 2025, the 460th anniversary of the birth of Eilhard Lubinus, an outstanding scholar of the turn of the 16th and 17th centuries, passed. On this occasion, an exhibition dedicated to him was opened in the Main Library of the University of Szczecin, where old prints (monographs and maps) authored by him or related to him were presented. They came not only from the Library's collections, but also from the Pomeranian Library and the Castle of the Pomeranian Dukes in Szczecin. According to the curator of the exhibition, they were intended to provide a comprehensive insight into Lubinus' achievements in every field of his wide-ranging scientific activity.
