La Famiglia is a game set in the realities of the great clan war that took place between Mafia families in the 80s. Although the events and families are fictional, the game captures the atmosphere of those times and makes you feel like a real Mafia boss. Cooperate with your partner, plan strategic moves and conquer more areas of Sicily to ensure your family's dominance and wealth.

The board shows Sicily divided into 12 mandamenti (regions). At the beginning of the game, each team controls several areas, but none has full control over any mandamento. Players must conquer new areas to take control of the mandamenti. Drug labs provide a flow of cash and shelter for soldati. A controlled mandamento brings steady benefits and brings the team closer to victory. The team wins when one of its members controls 5 mandamenti or they jointly control 6 mandamenti. If none of the teams achieve this goal, the game ends after 4 rounds and the team that controls more mandamenti wins.
