They prefer humus-rich soil, rich in nutrients such as compost, manure or mineral fertilizers, with a pH close to neutral. Planting gladiolus is best done in spring, at the turn of April and May. The planting depth should be equal to three times the height of the bulb, and on heavy soils we plant them a little deeper. Gladiolus planted too shallow may be exposed to water shortage, as well as more easily break in windy weather.

Caring for white Gladiolus Benex is relatively simple. In dry periods, they require watering. On poorer soils, we fertilize them every 2-3 weeks with multi-component fertilizers, the last time at the beginning of flowering. Lushly growing inflorescences require support to avoid breaking them. After flowering, the bulbs are dug up in the second half of September and in October. We dry them for a few days in a ventilated room and clean them. Over the winter, we store them in a cool, well-ventilated place.
