The words I wield are only air, and yet they please those who listen. These words of Sappho are closest to me. I have always liked to paint various images with words. The fairy tales I present here are just such images. They present certain situations, surprises, necessities; what always happens and what we sometimes do not notice occupied with everyday life. This may be their philosophical aspect.

Despite the fact that they take up important topics, such as love or death, they have only one task: to please those who listen. This joy may result from the discovery that the reader has a similar or perhaps completely different picture of the world. Although I admit here that the joy of discovering otherness is rare. In any case, I give these fairy tales to the eyes and minds of readers, hoping that their reading will bring them a subtle pleasure, available only to those who like black figures on a white background.

The book was published by Śląsk Publishing House in 2025. It has 56 pages and a format of 134x211 mm. The cover is paperback. Mirosław Piróg has been giving lectures, workshops and seminars since 1998, showing the connections between contemporary philosophy and psychology and ancient traditions of wisdom. His fairy tales are a subtle pleasure for lovers of literature and philosophy, inviting reflection on everyday life and important topics.
