The collection contains 14 short stories that were submitted to the competition in four categories: primary schools, secondary schools, adults, residents of the Łódź Voivodeship. Each of these short stories is a unique journey through the landscapes, stories and emotions associated with this region. The Literary Competition about the Rawa Land and the Łódź Voivodeship is an initiative to promote local creativity and encourage writing about one's surroundings.

The organizer of the competition is the editorial office of the KochamRawe newspaper and website in cooperation with WydawnictwoAutorskie Publishing House. In 2025, the competition was held under the honorary patronage of Joanna Skrzydlewska, Marshal of the Łódź Voivodeship, Piotr Irla, Mayor of the City of Rawa Mazowiecka, Jacek Otulak, Mayor of the City and Commune of Rawa Mazowiecka, Michał Michalik, Head of the Rawa Mazowiecka Commune, and the Self-Government Association for the Development of the Rawa Land. This shows the great importance attached to culture and literature in this region.
