The dictionary of Bulgarian predicators with the semantics of information transfer, using the example of a selected group of predicators, presents the syntactic features of verb units and their synonymous analytical units, traditionally called periphrastic predicates. Comparing the functioning of analytisms and their single-word equivalents can provide an answer to the question of the motivation for choosing between these units. This motivation may be both a different syntactic accommodation and the possibility of not expressing certain content in the text.

The dictionary provides information that is usually lacking in classic lexicons; their user is forced to search for this knowledge in texts or rely on their own, often unreliable, intuition. Although this study proposes a description of only a fragment of the Bulgarian language, it can contribute to the acquisition of Bulgarian by imposing a certain discipline in the description of predicators.
