Oskar Meller's book is an attempt at a comprehensive reading of Pułka's poetic project. The author analyzes the sources of the poet's approach to anachronistic clichés of the philosophy of language, innovations with which he broke up the existing lyrical forms, as well as traces of the presence of his language in the poems of authors for whom he remains one of the most important points of reference. The new challenges of the rapacious political and economic reality provoked Pułka's response, who, in Meller's interpretation, waged a dramatic and inspiring dispute with the world dominated by media and capital simulation and the corresponding regimes of power.
The poetics of the disinformative poem, the application of parallax, narconautical visions, tricks of cybernetic poetry, the practice of lyrical schizoanalysis, new varieties of concern for the "self" - these are just some of the poetic activities shown by Meller, thanks to which he convincingly explained why Tomasz Pułka made a turn in the history of the latest and youngest Polish poetry.
