Prof. Dr. Jerzy Karczmarczuk, computer scientist and theoretical physicist, shares his rich experience gained at the Jagiellonian University and the University of Caen. His work focuses on the application of functional languages to calculations in the natural sciences, as well as the modeling of quantum computer science. He is the author of many programming books, including a handbook dedicated to advanced programming techniques in Python.

Prof. Dr. habil. Krzysztof Rościszewski, a graduate of physics at the Jagiellonian University, collaborated with the Max Planck Institutes in Stuttgart and Dresden. His interests include group theory, phase transitions, the theory of liquid crystals, the kinetics of deterministic nonlinear systems and systems with fluctuations. He is the co-author of a book with exercises in higher algebra and several university scripts.
