The year is 1942. The Germans are intensifying terror against Polish society. The Home Army Command realizes that it cannot wait for the outbreak of a distant general uprising. It must oppose the occupier immediately. Combat operations must be undertaken, the strength of the organization must be shown, and people not involved in the conspiracy must be encouraged. In May, a decision is made at the level of the Home Army Headquarters to create the Special Combat Action Organization codenamed "Osa". This, next to the Union of Retaliation and the "Wachlarz" Organization, is already the third structure responsible for the so-called active action.

In late autumn 1942, a decision is made to form a special cell within "Osa" codenamed "Zagra-Lin". A suicidal team of people is created, ready to carry out retaliatory actions in enemy territory - in the Third Reich. This is a handful of particularly determined and mentally resistant soldiers of the Polish underground army who were able to operate in complete isolation in a foreign and hostile territory. Soon they make themselves known with successful bomb attacks on stations in Berlin, German Wrocław, Riga and on many railway lines. The psychological effect of these individual actions is enormous on both the German and Polish sides. The occupier can no longer feel safe even in his own country - the Polish conspiracy, in retaliation for the crimes committed, is able to reach him everywhere.

The book "Zagra-Lin equals revenge" is a moving story about the heroism and sacrifice of Polish soldiers who, in the face of the cruelty of war, did not hesitate to take up the fight in enemy territory. It is a testimony to the unwavering attitude and determination to strive for justice. The publication also contains unique drawings by Krzysztof Wyrzykowski, which add to its authenticity and emotional dimension.
