"Zsyp" is the story of the Simon family, who fled the war in Karabakh and are trying to find their way in post-Soviet Tbilisi. This city, full of corruption, violence and dirty politics, becomes for them an arena of difficult choices and painful confrontations with the past. Mila, the mother of the family, no longer sees salvation for her marriage and plans a future without her husband. Zema, her daughter working in the police, longs for revenge, and her son Lazar, who professes leftist ideals, is forced to abandon his principles.

The novel takes place in just 24 hours, during which numerous conflicts, dramas and challenges befall the Simon family. Memories of the past significantly affect the characters, showing the enormous influence of history on their present. The authors, Iwa Pezuaszwili and Magdalena Nowakowska, have created a moving story about difficult choices, moral dilemmas and the consequences of the past.
